The second GANGRENED full length is heavily trodding on the trail where CULT OF LUNA was headed on “Somewhere Along The Highway” and “Eternal Kingdom”. Beautiful dark guitar melodies evolve into massive walls of guitar drones with the songs dropping straight into a pit of heavy dirty tar not unlike UNEARTHLY TRANCE. Despite the english title, the lyrics on this release are completely in finnish making the noise-rock style vocals sound very different from the usual counterparts.
