Kingsport, Tennessee death metal horde PISSROT erupts from the underground once more with “ABSOLUTE FORM”. Following the 2022 debut EP ‘Piss.Vile.Gunk’, which was also the first ever IRON FORTRESS RECORDS release, two more EPs, a full-length, and a standalone single, PISSROT spent the majority of 2025 writing a new chapter of their grimy, bestial death metal. “ABSOLUTE FORM” pushes the band further into chasmic and desolate territory.
Performed by PISSROT and recorded and mixed by guitarist Arian Mauk, “ABSOLUTE FORM” captures the band’s raw, stripped-down intensity. Mastering was handled by Ragnar O’Daleigh, further amplifying the album’s crushing low-end and oppressive atmosphere. The visual element is equally corrosive, with artwork by Ditchwitch666, logo design by Hayden Brittain, and photography by Logan Bowman.
